Today was one of those days that make me wonder how it can feel so much like fall when we haven’t even reached August yet. It was a wet and dreary day that lent itself perfectly to these delicious garlic bread sticks. I had a piece of leftover pizza dough sitting in my fridge and garlic bread sticks were calling my name!
I’ve taken a hiatus from my blog for the past several months while I worked on getting my accounting business off the ground. I was being pulled in too many directions and had to make the difficult decision to cut a thing or two out of my life. Sadly, just as I was beginning to make great progress with my blog, it was the thing to go. However, I’ve found that through this time off from blogging, I’ve greatly missed it and craved the creative outlet that comes with it.
So for now, I’m not promising a blog post several days a week, but I am going to be on here a bit more regularly. I have so many exciting things to share but I can’t do them all in one post!
But back to the point – Garlic Bread Sticks!
Occasionally when we order pizza, I include an order for garlic bread sticks. They sound so good, they look so good, and even smell so good. But when I take a bite, I am nearly always disappointed. The garlic always seems to be missing and the bread sticks are either doughy or burned. So I’ve taught myself to not order them and consequently have missed even the chance of their delicious presence in my life.
Until now. These garlic bread sticks are seriously so good that I need to make them again (and I just made them today!). Dipped in homemade pizza sauce, they hit the spot with every warm garlicky bite.
